The custom fixture, designed by a California-based designer, stands as the centerpiece of the event space’s center lobby and the light reflecting from the ribbons represent the twilight sun dancing over the mountains. To achieve this, the designers took an “earthy elegance” approach, uplifted by a nearly 30-foot-long hand-forged steel and glass ribbon chandelier. The expansion was designed by the Friedmutter Group, known for their work at the Cosmopolitan resort in Las Vegas, who was challenged to design a contemporary space that embodied the beauty of the surrounding Pocono Mountains with a clean, luxury feel.
